Employment Opportunity:
Part-time Church Custodian
Duties: Maintain general building cleanliness, including both tiled and carpeted floors, keep bathrooms clean and stocked with necessary supplies, assist with Meeting/event set-up as needed, clean interior sanctuary and door glass as needed
Secure building upon departure, empty trash and recycling daily – ensure that carts are at the curb at the appropriate times, other duties as assigned.
Hours: 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Work days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Rate of pay: $12/hour.

Search Committee formed for the Organist/Choir Director position
As of July 1, a Search Committee will have been formed to interview and audition candidates for the newly formed Organist/Choir Director position. The committee will consist of four lay-members of First Lutheran Church and Pastor Folkerts. Interviews are planned for mid- to late-July. Public auditions for the final candidate(s) are planned for August. The committee’s goal is to fill the position by Labor Day. Committee updates, meeting dates and times, and other notes will be published in July bulletins.
New Summer Sign-language Interpreter
Our American Sign Language interpreter, Melissa Meyer, is taking the summer off to be with family in California. While she’s gone, a new set of hands will be flying about in the sanctuary on Sunday mornings through the end of August. We gladly welcome Jess Petrowiak. Please make a point to meet and warmly welcome her.

Sunday School
Held during the 9:30 a.m. worship service.
Kid’s Church
The first Sunday of each month
(no Sunday school).
Children stay with their parents
through the children’s message.
