You’re invited to attend a video series called “Salt of the Earth: Palestinian Christians in the Northern West Bank” held Monday, January 17 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Community Room. Two volunteers from the Presbyterian Church lived in the Christian Palestinian village of Zababdeh for three years. Their ministry was one of ecumenical support to the Church in the land of its birth. The video addresses issues facing Palestinian Christians. Segments include living as a Christian minority, freedom of movement in Palestine, refugees, and more.
“NW CLUSTER” Lay School of Theology is offering the course: “It’s in the Bible! Expectations and Reality.” The course examines conceptions and misconceptions about our faith book, and includes Lutheran approaches to scripture as we live with the Bible’s truths, challenges and questions. This course is co-sponsored by nine NW Mpls/Metro ELCA Congregations.
